We are a family oriented riding club. We are a member of the American Association of Sheriff's Posses and Riding Clubs, competing with other Playday Clubs throughout Texas. We host 12 open Playdays a season, with classes for all age groups ranging from the leadliner to super seniors. Riders compete in 3 patterns a day in order to gain points for year end awards. Ribbons are given out for places 1st thru 6th. Playdays are held on Sunday Afternoons during the school year, and Friday nights during the summer. 2008 DRC QUEEN - HANNAH ELLIS ************************************* Hannah is the 15 year old daughter of Randy and Gretchen Ellis. She is a freshman at Guyer High School. She plays volleyball and has been riding horses since she was 8. Hannah learned to ride on her Arabian, Khart, and now is riding a 9 year old paint named Tag. She has been a DRC member for three years. Hannah is proud to represent the DRC and hopes that all riders will have a great experience this year.

2008 DRC Princess - Lucy Henry   *********************************** Lucy is a 10 yr old 4th grader at Hatfield Elementary. She has rode all her life and shows appaloosa horses. Lucy is a 2nd year member of Silver Saddle 4H. Lucy is a Rodeo Oueen at heart and is very excited to represent DRC this year.

2008 DRC Mascot - Shelby Maxwell   ***************************************  Shelby is the 7 yr old daughter of Brian & Donna Maxwell and the grandaughter of Ronnie & Elizabeth Maxwell of Pilot Point.  She attends the 1st grade at Pilot Point Elementary . She has been riding since she was 2 years old. She started riding on her horse named Chili and has upgraded to a 4 yr old colt named Sedez and is doing very well. She is very excited to represent DRC this year as Mascot. She is also a member of AASP & RC, Farmersville, & ABRA. She hopes that everyone has fun and enjoys riding this season.

2008 DRC Wrangler - Tyler Sandefur  *************************************** Tyler is the 9 yr old son of Shawn & Sunny Sandefur and the grandson of Myrna & Mike Sandefur.  He attends 4th grade at Highland Village Elementary.  He has been riding for 2 years on his horse Jessie.  He is still learning and getting better everyday!  He is proud to represent DRC as Wrangler this year!  He wants to wish everyone good luck and good times this season.
