Friday night was the queen's playday, and I was very excited about the turn out. We had 73 riders. Between the entry fees and the auction, we raised $1500 for the Ronald Mcdonald House Charity. I would like to thank everyone who donated to the auction and also all of you who bid and bought things. A special thank you goes out to Doyle Coulter for his auctioneering skills. Great job!
It was a late night, but 13 students made it out to the clinic on Saturday Morning. We had lots of members and some newcomers. We had great presenters, Ashley Barger and Dwayne Rowe. I want to thank them both, as well as the other board members who came out to help with set up and working the concession stand. It was a great day with lots of learning going on and will hopefully turn into an annual event.
The fastest times for the Queens play day were Taylor Sorrells with a 9.871 in straight barrels, Polly Henderson with a 8.667 in spur, and Karlee Sue McQuinn with a 16.942 in barrels.
We are looking forward to going to Play Day Finals this week and I want to wish everyone the best of luck!!
Be Safe,
Taylor Sorrells
